The Cosmic Dream Blog Site is committed to maintaining a friendly, respectful, and welcoming environment for all members.
To support that goal, we provide a simple Code of Conduct that all members are expected to follow.
This etiquette applies to all members at all times while using the Blog Site.
Please remember that Moderators and Administrators are regular members who volunteer their time.
Be patient and respectful when seeking assistance.
Registration on this Blog Site constitutes agreement to this Code of Conduct,
as well as our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
1. BASIC BEHAVIOUR
- 1.1 Respectful Conduct
- Content that is harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, hateful, vulgar, obscene, sexually explicit,
invasive of privacy, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable is not permitted on the Blog Site.
- Members are expected to communicate respectfully and avoid behavior that disrupts the community.
- Support and assistance provided by staff should be accessible to all members and not repeatedly requested
in ways that burden volunteers.
- 1.2 Illegal or Copyright‑Violating Material
- Sharing or requesting pirated software, media, or any copyrighted material without permission is strictly prohibited.
- Sharing or requesting serial keys, cracks, or tools that bypass licensing is not allowed.
- Links to websites that distribute illegal or infringing content are not permitted.
- Reposting copyrighted content from other sources is only allowed with written permission from the copyright holder.
- Discussion of technologies such as BitTorrent is permitted only when not used to exchange copyrighted or illegal material.
- 1.3 Pornographic and Provocative Content
- The Blog Site includes members of different ages, backgrounds, and beliefs. Content must remain appropriate for a general audience.
- Material that is pornographic, sexually explicit, sexually demeaning, or intentionally provocative is not permitted and will be removed immediately.
- Please be mindful that what may seem acceptable in one context may be inappropriate or uncomfortable for others.
- 1.4 SPAM, Marketing, and Affiliate Links
- Marketing, advertising, or linking to commercial products or services is not allowed anywhere on the Blog Site unless you have written permission from the Blog Administrator.
- Unsolicited promotional content, mass‑posting, or any behavior generally considered SPAM is strictly prohibited.
- Affiliate links that provide financial or other benefits to the poster are not permitted unless you clearly disclose that clicking the link benefits you.
- We reserve the right to remove any content that violates this rule, ban the responsible user, and block their IP address if necessary.
- Repeated attempts to promote commercial products or services without permission will result in immediate action.
- 1.5 Respect for Blog Moderators and Administrators
- Moderators and Administrators help maintain order and ensure a positive environment for all members.
- They volunteer their time to support the community. Their guidance, corrections, and decisions must be respected.
- Moderator or Administrator notes or actions may only be changed by the staff member who issued them.
- Staff members will not override another staff member’s decision without discussing it with them first.
- 1.6 Complaints Regarding Moderators, Administrators, or Users
- If a moderator or administrator edits or locks one of your posts and you need clarification, contact them politely through the Contact form.
- Please review the Code of Conduct before submitting a complaint, as misunderstanding the rules is not considered a valid excuse.
- Any complaints about moderators, administrators, or users must be submitted privately via the Contact form or email to the Site Administrator.
- Complaints about staff actions must not be posted publicly on the Blog Site under any circumstances.
- 1.7 Criticism
- Any project‑related concerns or criticisms should be submitted privately to the Administrator through the Blog Site’s contact form.
- 1.8 Site and Blog Membership
- The Administrator reserves the right to edit, suspend, delete, ban, or blacklist any member account if necessary to protect the integrity of the Blog Site.
- The Administrator may edit or remove any posted material that violates this Code of Conduct or is otherwise deemed harmful to the Blog Site, even if the specific issue is not explicitly listed here.
- 1.9 Avatars
- Avatars must not contain provocative, violent, pornographic, threatening, unlawful, defamatory, infringing, abusive, inflammatory, harassing, vulgar, obscene, fraudulent, or discriminatory content.
- Avatars that imitate or impersonate Moderators or Administrators will be removed without notice.
- 1.10 External Downloads
- Blog posts may not include links to external downloads.
- All downloadable content must be provided as an attachment directly on the Blog Site.
2. GENERAL
- 2.1 Profile Fields
- Optional profile fields may be left blank.
- If you choose to provide information, it must be accurate and relevant.
- Please do not enter placeholders such as “N/A” or “Don't have this.”
- Usernames must follow basic standards of decency and may not contain profanity.
- The staff may edit usernames that are inappropriate, misleading, impersonate staff, or contain trademarked, religious, or political references.
- In severe cases, the Administrator may ban, delete, or blacklist an account without prior warning.
- 2.2 Consequences of Breaking the Rules
- Failure to follow this Code of Conduct may result in temporary or permanent suspension from the Blog Site.
- Violations typically result in warnings; continued violations may lead to a ban at the discretion of the Site Administrator.
- Warnings may be issued via Contact email or as a comment on your blog post.
- 2.3 Credits
- Please give credit where credit is due.
- This applies to copyrighted material as well as helpful solutions, contributions, and constructive feedback.
- Positive acknowledgment helps maintain a supportive and enjoyable community environment.
